6-week Kids Pottery Wheel class — March 21–April 25, 2026. In this 6-week class, students will learn wheel pottery basics: centering, pulling, trimming, sculpting, and glazing. Class size is limited to 6 students to keep children and instructors safe.
Ages 8+ and drop off only.
$175 per child
Add a $50 sibling discount at checkout. Projects need drying and two firings for liquid and food safety. You'll get a text when projects are ready for pickup, about 4 weeks. Please only buy the first day of this 6-week class (Sept 6) to avoid confusion and overbooking.
Did you like the movie "Ghost"? Recreate it while making pottery together! Couples will learn the potter’s wheel, help each other shape clay, and get step‑by‑step guidance from an instructor. This one time, no experience is necessary; throwing experience includes all materials, firing, and instruction for only $135 per couple and up to 5 pieces created per couple on the wheel. Booking is required to attend class. Pottery will be ready in 4 weeks and includes firing and glaze painting, and you will be notified via text.
Come back to paint your pieces with over 50 glazes and extras like specialty glazes and fun techniques. Please arrive on time — class starts with a demo. Due to limited space, only 3 couples may book per session. Make sure to dress to make a mess! Pottery projects need to be cleaned, dried, and fired twice-can take 4 weeks.
Important: This is a one-time session. Pick one day and time. The demo starts on time — arrive 10 minutes early for parking. Remove rings, bracelets, and watches before class. No manicures or long nails. Participants must be 18 or older.
Large Group Pottery Wheel Request
If you have a smaller group, please see our selection of Basic Wheel classes via the Class Calendar. You will be able to purchase a class from there for groups of fewer than 6.
How it works: Groups of up to 6 potters spend 1.5 hours in our Throwing Studio creating up to 3 works of art each. Each class begins with a demo by the instructor, and each pottery participant will be guided and coached along the way. All projects made on the potter’s wheel will be painted within the session. You may upgrade and have our Potteristas paint them for you, or leave them white and have our Handwriting Artist add a handwritten name or word on each pot.
Projects will be cleaned, dried, fired twice, and TEXTED for pick up approximately 4 weeks later. One person from your group will be designated to pick up all projects at one time.
Knowledge required: Beginner-friendly!
What you'll get: Materials to work with, plus one fired piece that will be glazed for you.
What to bring: Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy. We suggest trimming your nails before the session and removing jewelry from your hands and wrists. Long Hair should be tied back in a ponytail.
Suitable for: This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a team-building activity, birthday, or bachelorette party.
Groups larger than 6 will require two or more hours in our wheel space with the addition of a creative hand-sculpted piece, while partiers rotate turns on the wheel, and the larger group may require a second instructor. Cost per extra potter beyond 6 is $45 per person.
Bookings for a class:
must be requested a minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the class.
We are OPEN on Wednesday-Saturday 12-7 and Sunday 12-4.
Requests for wheel classes on off days/hours will be subject to studio and instructor availability.
